Florian Paul is a storyteller. He talks about life, about love, about loneliness, about big themes in small events, with a smoky voice and big gestures, like an old drunk trying to explain the world from the bar.
Yet he is officially only 28.

In 2015, he moved from the Ruhr region to Munich to study film music and met Nils Wrasse (saxophone) and Giuliano Loli (keys) at the Munich University of Music. They were later joined by drummer Johannes Rothmoser and bassist Susi Lotter.

On May 31, 2019, the band released their debut album Dazwischen on the Munich-based indie label Millaphon Records. The second studio album Auf Sand gebaut followed in 2022. This was accompanied by a thirty-minute music film of the same name. The film features an exquisite cast including Elisa Schlott, Konstatin Gries and Oliver Stokowski and celebrated its premiere at the renowned Max Ophülspreis film festival. At the Five Lakes Film Festival, it won the Short Plus Award for best medium-length film.

In 2023, Florian Paul and his band developed the musical theater evening "Jetzt oder nie" together with members of the Munich Residenztheater, which can be found there regularly in the repertoire.
