To mark Johanna Seligmann-Coppel's 160th birthday, her great-granddaughter Andrea Rey-Suter , with the support of her descendants in Switzerland, Argentina, Mexico and Germany, embarked on a very personal encounter with her great-grandmother's story. Together with the Austrian filmmaker Helmut Wimmer , she followed in Johanna's footsteps and sought out people who contributed to the reconstruction of this personal portrait with their stories.

This "cinematic" search for traces provides unique insights into the life of Johanna Seligmann-Coppel, the former landlady of Villa Seligmann, and her descendants.
