POISON - A LOVE STORY tells the moving story of Lucas and Edith meeting nine years after their separation. Over the course of the day, they are confronted with the past and experience feelings of love and hope, but also of sadness and old resentments. With great sensitivity, director Désirée Nosbusch directs Trine Dyrholm and Tim Roth in a masterful performance in front of the camera of award-winning cinematographer Judith Kaufmann. POISON - A LOVE STORY is based on the internationally highly successful play "Gift. A Marriage Story" by Lot Vekemans.
