A play is being produced and we follow the rehearsals, sneak behind the scenes, observe the relationships between the participants... It's a play about the critical aspects of the pharmaceutical industry that the renowned director Stan wants to put on stage, but Dr. Franz, who sells psychotropic drugs, keeps interfering - a kind of Mephistopheles figure for the director, who wants to give everything for his play.
Antonia Walther stages the confusion of theater work and cleverly draws her scenes into the absurd. It is about dependencies, group dynamics and the art of creating something out of them - if possible. And again and again, the film team itself intervenes with instructions and scene repetitions...
