FESTIWALLA 2024 - Keine Angst! Klassenk*mpf?!

In the organizer's words:

Wars, crises, climate catastrophe.
Police checks on the streets.
Pressure at school. There's stress at home.
The Späti next door has to close.
Vacations are too expensive and so is the kebab.
Having to work and still no cash.
Bureaucracy wars at the office.

That and much more makes our lives a living hell. The decisions of the rich are always at our expense! Of us students, apprentices and workers - and we can't have a say. This makes us angry and hopeless!

Right-wing politicians exploit this and stir up hatred and envy. Scapegoats are fantasized, racism and queerophobia divide working people among themselves - the working class turns against itself.

"Class" means everything on our necks - even if oppressed differently. How do we understand these differences but also common struggles? Is it where we are exploited that we also have the power to change things?

Theater, performances, music, rap, spoken word, dance, installations, games, talks, workshops, food and CommUnity - on the big stage and on the street!

FESTIWALLA brings you marginalized youth perspectives and their art - with local ensembles from Berlin to collectives from Palestine, Italy, Spain, Chile, Bolivia and Nigeria. Under the motto "No fear! Klassenk*mpf!", it's all about work and strikes, war and the shift to the right, migration and flight and the confrontation with many other current political issues.
