Neighborhood walk in the Unionviertel

How accessible is the Unionviertel for us women? Where do we feel comfortable, safe and welcome - and where not? On a walk together, we will explore the district from a feminist perspective. On our walk, we will record where there are obstacles, which places we avoid and where we like to spend time. We will then locate these impressions together on a map and identify the need for action.

Let's fill the Unionviertel with new ideas - come along and help shape it!

Wednesday, 09.04., 6 pm, meeting point in the Union Salon

Originally, the neighborhood walk was part of the theme week on the occasion of the feminist struggle day of our women's space Lyra, in which we deal with feminism, gender equality and other topics together in various events. Due to illness, the walk could not take place during the theme week and will therefore be rescheduled for April.

Lyra is a place for women and girls from the Union Quarter to come together in a cozy and child-friendly atmosphere. Lyra stands for sisterhood. Sisterhood means supporting and strengthening each other. We empower each other to stand up for our interests. In this space, we want to develop together as women and feel our own and collective strength. We want to be strong, resistant and courageous!
