A young man's obsession with the half-naked figure of Jesus Christ leads him down a dangerous path of self-harm and masochistic tendencies. Zoe Dumas' camerawork impresses with its maturity, depth and respectful treatment of the actors and plot. With precise intuition, the visual design reinforces the dramaturgy and intensity of the narrative.

In #El Sueño#, Lisa Bühl and her co-director Sandra Carolina Jiménez accompany a group of children on the Colombian Pacific coast and give them space for the moments that really bring a story to life. Through their personal point of view, the children take us into their magical universe in the midst of powerful nature, dominated by contrasts and haunted by its history.
