Hailing from Berlin and Zurich, two headstrong musicians are sharing the small Feinkostbühne stage today with their joint Be Our Guest release tour:

Mystical, magical, feminist: Marlena Käthe's (she/her) darkly beautiful dark folk sound aesthetic of mysterious melodies, enigmatic lyrics, danceable rhythms to subbige basses is beguiling and wonderfully disturbing. After her FLINTA* only debut production AGED, produced by Shanice Ruby Bennett (they/them, Polarbear) and the feature single with Swiss artist ToAthena (who will also be playing at Feinkost on March 18th), a few new songs from the upcoming EP A MOR will travel with her as a delicate and exciting further development of the Marlena Käthe sound.

Sometimes booming, sometimes bright, mystical, harmonious, ironic, provocative or gruff - class, inspiration and free spirit shine from every line, from every melodic line. GINA ÉTÉ owes the chamber music aspects to a childhood in classical music before falling in love with synthesizers and writing music that is multi-layered, surprising and dense through breathless intimacy and political awareness. On this tour, accompanied by the band collective, Gina releases her new album Prosopagnosia.
