Four young women in mid-19th century America who want to shape their lives according to their own ideas, sometimes overcoming major social obstacles in the process: Based on the novel of the same name by Louisa May Alcott, "Little Women" follows the different lives of the March sisters Jo (Saoirse Ronan), Meg (Emma Watson), Amy (Florence Pugh) and Beth (Eliza Scanlen) at a time when opportunities for women were even more limited than they are today.
