Former model Lee Miller is tired of being the object of her male colleagues and concentrates on her own work as a photographer. In the middle of the war, she goes to the front in France as a photo reporter and, together with her colleague David E. Scherman, documents the horrors of the Second World War for months. They were among the first photographers to be present at the liberation of the Buchenwald and Dachau camps. Lee's pictures became the most powerful testimonies to those horrific crimes and became etched in history - but Miller himself would not let go of them for the rest of his life ...
