Marko Simsa and the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra invite us on an exciting and varied journey along the Vltava. With numerous sound samples, they show us piece by piece what Bedrich Smetana tells us musically in his composition. From the springs in the Bohemian Forest to the capital city of Prague, we listen to the sounds of water, are enchanted by fairies, gaze upon proud castles, celebrate a rural wedding and reach our destination after raging rapids.

The lovingly drawn pictures presented on the big screen are by Doris Eisenburger. The book illustrated by her can be purchased in the foyer of the music hall during the family concerts.
