#EUwomen – Gleichstellung in Europa

In the organizer's words:

The exhibition #EUwomen - Women in European Politics: Achievements, Opportunities and Obstacles will be presented from March 6 to April 7, 2025 and offers an interactive insight into the history of gender equality in Europe. It shows the achievements of pioneering women, highlights challenges and provides insights into the current debates on gender equality in the EU.

Interactive exhibits and informative panels tell of the struggles and successes of the women's movement, while portraits of female leaders in the EU illustrate the paths women are taking in politics today. #EUwomen deals with the question of how equality can be further advanced and what obstacles still exist.

The traveling exhibition was conceived by the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen in cooperation with the Representation of the European Commission in Germany and will be presented in KAP1 by EUROPE DIRECT Düsseldorf.
