We take you on a journey through time in Regensburg and bring long-gone views back to life.

There have always been changes, because changes are part of the development of a city. The medium of photography takes the visual documentation of these changes to a new level. Using the photographs of the first full-time city photographer and his predecessors and successors, we embark on a search for clues: We look at corners of the city that have changed, squares and bridges where people have always met, exchanged goods and celebrated festivals. Accompany us through history and compare old views of the city with the new and modern approach to architectural monuments. Decide for yourself - was everything really better in the past?
