A lesson without a lesson

Out of false politeness and a lack of courage, Gottlieb Biedermann lets two arsonists into his house in the desperate and naive hope of being spared the impending destruction. He fails to show resistance, rebellion and a clear stance and initiates the catastrophe with his own matches.

Our horror at the current global turmoil and destruction follows us brazenly and macabrely scene by scene.
