ENNIO | ZMF Freiburg

In the organizer's words:

Is it pop? Is it funk or punk? The ZMF has confirmed ENNIO for the 2025 edition of the festival, bringing an artist to the program who plays with different musical influences and brings a new sound to the German indie scene.

With explosive live shows, profound lyrics and a multi-layered sound with a distinctive voice, ENNIO has become a shooting star in a very short space of time.

In 2022, the young musician won the New Music Award as Newcomer of the Year and released his debutalbum Nirvana. Alongside songs such as the soulful love song Kippe and the punk-pop song Wand, ENNIO was crowned king of the neighborhood with the song of the same name.

Since then, every tour of the artist has been full of sold-out shows and positive feedback from his fans. In the summer of 2024, he then released a brand new album entitled "Schlaraffenland".

On August 1, 2025, the artist will take to the ZMF stage for the first time and make the Freiburg audience "shake in time to the music".
