Enkhjargal Dandarvaanchig, master of the Mongolian violin and singing, walks between cultures. With his playing on the morin hoor and the perfection of his singing (undertone and overtone), he loves to fuse his traditional roots with modern, western-influenced music and improvisation. Known for his legendary performances with his French band "Violons Barbares", he has also enchanted audiences as a soloist at the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris and with the orchestra of the Opéra de Paris. He succeeds in combining the beauty of the Mongolian steppe and its vastness with the soundscapes of other cultures and captures a breathtaking view of an archaic culture shaped by nature in unique music.
