Elisabeth Kabatek & Ilona Nowak - Schwäbisch lieben? Ein Experiment

In the organizer's words:

You can love Swabian. Or hate it. This mumbled, printed, swallowed! But wait a minute. Is this about love for the dialect, or love for the people in the Swabian language area? Loving Swabian is a contradiction in terms. A declaration of love in a dialect that can only manage a "I like you", but would never utter "Darling, I love you too"? On this evening, we will try out declarations of love in Swabian, which are suitable for locals and rei'gschmeckte alike, and sing Swabian love songs. A joint experiment that could turn out to be quite funny. An evening about love - to the dialect and to the beloved, with all its ups and downs. And of course there will be a reunion with Bridgit, the most Swabian of all Swabians!

Elisabeth Kabatek and Ilona Nowak were awarded a prize for musical cabaret at the "Sebastian Blau Prize for Swabian Cabaret" in Rottenburg in October.
