nce her solo debut "Liebe & Krieg" was released in 2020 , which has collected more than 60 million artist streams to date, ela. - whose real name is Elżbieta Steinmetz - is currently one of the most successful and renowned female singer/songwriters in Germany.

As the lead singer of her pop-folk band Elaiza, she competed at the ESC in 2014 to represent Germany and has since gone solo.

However, the German pop artist with Ukrainian roots has also made a name for herself through cross-genre collaborations with top-class fellow musicians. From Helene Fischer and Michael Patrick Kelly to Adel Tawil or the power anti-war anthem Kupala, which caused a sensation across Europe and became a Ukrainian top ten hit, there seems to be no sound that ela. could not enrich with her powerful, multi-faceted vocals and soulful piano playing.

Her single release "Irgendwann" has sold more than 100,000 copies to date.
Her profound and reflective approach to socially critical issues has made her an important voice of her generation, especially in recent years. It is important to the Berlin-based songwriter to tell her stories with touching language, subtle lyricism and great poetry, but at the same time to leave enough space for people to find themselves in them.

After spending the last few months working intensively on her second album, due in early 2023, and numerous collaborations, the Berliner-by-choice is embarking on an extensive Immer jemand wach tour in October.
