How was it possible to find out that the father was a right-wing nationalist assassin? In the fall of 1962, he and his like-minded comrades wanted to use explosives to draw attention to violations of international law against "ethnic Germans" in South Tyrol. The result: one dead and numerous injured. Decades later, Traudl Bünger begins to unravel her father's secret. She is catapulted back to the early 1960s, when the FRG was struggling to restore its reputation on the world stage, which is why right-wing activities were more than inconvenient.
