Moving Bodies - Festival for dance on the deep lake

The Oxymoron Dance Company's summer dance spectacle on the lake stage at Tiefen See has already become a tradition in Schiffbauergasse. And this year we are once again opening the stage to young international dancers and choreographers.

We are looking forward to the first edition of Moving Bodies - Festival for Dance at the Deep Lake.

The Moving Bodies festival follows the idea of presenting different artistic perspectives and forms of expression. Encounters, changes of perspective, a play of diverse thoughts, all this through dance, to enter into an exchange and to inspire, encourage and respect each other.

Dance - video - sound merge into a unique performance

Under the direction of Anja Kozik, the artist collective around the musicians Modem&Acoid, the visual artist Cecile Wesolowski, the costume designer Juliane Götz and the dancers of the Oxymoron Dance Company struggle to find a presentable essence to questions of our time. The principle of hope carries us through the process of searching. We are whisked away into the dreamlike, almost exuberant visual worlds of artist Cecile Wesolowski, which serve the musicians and dancers as a framework for sound and choreographically arranged compositions.
