Wine & literature at the book fair in the Panometer Leipzig

What a fantastic end to the reading events at the Leipzig Panometer for the Leipzig Book Fair. The publishing house Ästhetik & Kommunikation is presenting two authors in the midst of Yadegar Asisi's 360° panorama: Jane van Raudi and Jürgen Werner Schulz

Poet Jane van Raudi and scientist and essayist Jürgen Werner Schulz read from their poetry collection "Unüberspürbar. Inbetweener Space" and "Glossary of the Security Society. Gegen die Verlockung der Eindeutigkeit" - both published by edition ästhetik & kommunikation, whose publisher will give a brief introduction to the event.

After the two readings, there will be an opportunity to have books signed and to view the 360° panorama exhibition "Monet's Cathedral" by Yadegar Asisi while enjoying selected French wines and delicacies.

"Imperceptible. Inbetweener Space" (Jane van Raudi)
A poetry book full of poetry and with drawings by Marie Stiehler. Jane van Raudi's poetry goes into spaces that, like Marie Stiehler's images, are in-between today and now - in a new tone where neurons implode in peaceful heat.

"Glossary of the security society. Against the lure of unambiguity" (Jürgen Werner Schulz)
It used to take glossaries and encyclopaedias to know what, how and why. In permanent crisis mode (finance, migration, climate, pandemic, war), the situation is reversed. If you want to avoid or counter well-meaning propaganda, pseudo-religious talk and identitarian kitsch, you need something else: a lack of knowledge, a loss of why, ambiguity. Purposelessness or liberation from purpose would also be worth mentioning. From A to Z, the terms become ambiguous words and images. More certainty is not possible. The rest is solidarity again.

After this event, another reading with the cultural philosopher Bazon Brock will begin at 8 pm in the Panometer Leipzig. The ticket for the reading "eindeutig nicht" is automatically valid for admission to the following reading.
