In their third film together, the successful Iranian directing duo Maryam Moghaddam and Behtash Sanaeeha present a moving and playful tale of hope and love with subtle humor.
At the center is 70-year-old Mahin, who lives alone in Tehran after the death of her husband and the emigration of her daughter. A convivial afternoon tea with friends provides the impetus to leave her lonely and monotonous everyday life behind. Mahin harbors the desire to rekindle her love life. In her search for a new partner, she spontaneously opens her heart to Faramarz, a cab driver of the same age. The chance encounter turns into a night that is as surprising as it is unforgettable.

This tragicomedy sheds an authentic light on the everyday lives of Iranian women and their subtle paths to emancipation in a patriarchal society. What begins as a romantic encounter between two lonely strangers develops into a touching ode to life, women and freedom.
