20 years of Brazilian musical diversity full of music and shared joy! Eduardo Macedo - musician, composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist from Brazil - began his adventure in Germany in 1984, where he gained his first experience as a street musician in Hamburg's city center. Eduardo Macedo subsequently took over the live music club "Tropical Brasil" on the Kiez, where Macedo founded two bands - Favela and Kizumba - and performed regularly.
In 2005, Macedo's first concert with the "Trio Café Brasil" took place in the Goldbekhaus. Since then, Eduardo Macedo has performed at the Goldbekhaus with many different formations of this trio.
For all Forró dance enthusiasts, we will only partially seat the hall so that there is enough space to dance. Join Eduardo Macedo and his musicians for an extraordinary party full of music, dancing and good humor! We look forward to seeing you.
For this anniversary, which is also Eduardo Macedo's 67th birthday, he is inviting many of his talented accompanists on stage: Birgit Storf (flute, saxophone), Remy de Souza (percussion, cavaquinho, vocals), Gio Calasans (drums), Fabiano Santana and Charles Williams (accordion), Miriam da Silva and Sarah Lasaki (dance performance), Detlef Boetticher (handpan), Sabine Pohlandt (vocals & zabumba), Noa Abedi (lyrics), Tina Deckardt (vocals), Suely Lauar (vocals), Rafa Brandão (vocals & guitar) as well as Rupert Schoch (vocals, guitar and harmonica) and other surprise guests.
