Every year on the 2nd weekend in Advent, the unique Eckardtsheim Christmas market invites visitors to the south of Bielefeld from Friday to Sunday with its special Christmas flair.

The park by the Eckardtskirche church is enchanted by a sea of lights including candles, fairy lights and fireplaces. Around 300 volunteers ensure the well-being of guests from near and far. On all three days, visitors to the church can look forward to a sophisticated concert.

The high-quality handcrafted products and the wide range of food on offer continue to delight visitors. The market also lives up to its inclusive claim because many stalls are run by non-profit initiatives. Beautiful creative offers for children, a visit to the sheep or the storyteller as well as bread on a stick at the campfire make the market a special experience not only for our little guests.
