At the suggestion of the busy New York bassist Joe Fonda, a new trio has come together with the Berlin saxophonist Silke Eberhard and the Münster guitarist Erhard Hirt.

Fonda has worked with the cream of the US-American scene, such as Archie Shepp, Anthony Braxton, Walada Leo Smith, Oliver Lake, Bary Altschul: Kenny Baron, Perry Robinson, Billy Bang, Mark Whitecage, Marion Brown and many others.

Anthony Braxton says of Joe Fonda: "Heis part of a living tradition of faith and devotion ... a true virtuoso and composer of the highest order."

Tobias Böcker writes about jazz prize winner Silke Eberhard in JAZZPODIUM: "She analyzes precisely, contours sharply, deconstructs without hesitation and contrasts harshly, (...) transparent and dry in expression, humorous and biting in commentary", or Heinrich Brinkmöller-Becker on nrwjazznet.de: "Silke Eberhard exploits her entire wind artistry without her music mutating into a mere presentation of technical skills on the instrument. The third member of the ensemble, Erhard Hirt, was recently described by Todd M. McComb as "an endlessly creative texturist".
