Lights out, voice on for the climate! On March 22, 2025, we will celebrate the free Polarstern Earth Hour Live concert, a fixed star among Munich's climate protection events. This time with two live acts and a wheel of fortune at the legendary Fat Cat (in the Gasteig)! Be there for climate protection and the planet! 🌍

What the WWF says about the worldwide Earth Hour.

Every year since 2007, millions of people, companies and cities around the world have switched off the lights in their private homes, public buildings, landmarks or locations for Earth Hour to set an example in the world's largest campaign for more climate and environmental protection. A sign that is more important than ever in view of the devastating extreme weather events, constant new heat records and dwindling natural resources.

But Earth Hour is more than just a sign. It is a powerful moment that reminds us that we are collectively responsible for our planet and must call on politicians to act decisively. Regardless of which coalition will form the federal government over the next four years, the tasks that the government program must solve are clear: Combat the climate crisis. Stopping the extinction of species. And seize opportunities for us humans: Be more independent of energy imports, create good and fair jobs and secure an intact natural environment as the basis of our security, health and prosperity.

Polarstern celebrates Earth Hour with a candlelight concert.

Polarstern has been celebrating Earth Hour every year for many years with a live candlelight concert. In 2025, Sonofold and the Boys of Kings from Munich will provide a great atmosphere. Together with our partners, clubs and associations as well as all other guests, we put the climate in the spotlight at Polarstern Earth Hour. Why? Because nothing is more important than a planet worth living on for everyone. Really. Come and join us on March 22!
