Dreamlights zwischen Romantik und Pop

In the organizer's words:

On 15 March at 6 pm, Duo KlaVio will be performing a colorful crossover program.

The Duo KlaVio with viola and piano offers a wide variety of styles from baroque and romantic to rock and pop music. Our aim is to give you moments of happiness that you can take with you into your everyday life.

We would like to introduce ourselves briefly: Stefanija has been playing the piano since she was 5 years old and completed her Bachelor's degree with distinction at the Wiesbaden Music Academy in 2023. She is currently studying for a Master's degree in Frankfurt. She made her debut in Macedonia at the age of 16 as a soloist with orchestral accompaniment with the Skopie Philharmonic Orchestra. She has performed in numerous other concerts and developed her stage experience through regular class auditions at the State School for Gifted Musicians and the Music Academy. Nikolas originally comes from Lower Bavaria in the district of Passau and began playing the violin at the age of 11. He switched to the viola at 16 and has been studying at the Wiesbaden Music Academy since 2022, currently in his 4th semester. He has already toured Sweden and Iceland with the KAMEL (Laubenheim Chamber Music Ensemble). He also plays regularly in various orchestras, including the Junge Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie, Wiesbaden Symphony Orchestra and Rhein-Main Symphony Orchestra.

The young musicians have already performed with Duo KlaVio in Wiesbaden, Frankfurt, Mainz, Darmstadt and Karlsruhe.

The program under the motto "Dreamlights between Romanticism and Pop" will juxtapose these two musical worlds. The classical repertoire includes the lyrical Ballade No. 4 by Chopin, the emotionally captivating fantasy pieces by Robert Schumann and the dramatic and captivating solo sonata by Paul Hindemith. The "Hallelujah" by Leonhard Cohen, "Stand by Me" by Ben E. King, Richard Clayderman's "Ballade pour Adeline" and the Spanish tango-inspired "Por Una Cabeza" by Carlos Gardel will create contrasts. There will also be other pieces, although these have not yet been revealed.

Admission is free. We would appreciate your donation.
