Double Feature: Vom Urknall bis zur Ewigkeit

In a double feature, you can experience our two programs "Time Travel" and "Destination Future", which are seamlessly linked: The journey takes us from the Big Bang to eternity!

Where do we come from? What had to happen before we humans were able to evolve? The Galileum becomes a fascinating time machine! As a visitor, you will experience how the Milky Way, the sun and the earth came into being and how life developed. Star explosions and comets hitting the earth are just as much a part of the show as dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures.

But then we move into the future: almost manageable are periods of millions of years in which the Earth and life change their face, or billions of years in which the sun reaches the end of its existence and the entire Milky Way undergoes a spectacular transformation. But what happens in the much more distant future, in periods of time for which our language can no longer find words? What will remain when the stars go out? And will there perhaps even be something like "eternity" at the end - will time itself cease to pass?

Both programs last around 2.5 hours, including a short break with drinks and more.
