The Neue Jazzchor Berlin interprets sophisticated arrangements of jazz choir literature, selected pop songs - for example by Sting - and lively samba numbers with great joy and passion. Since its foundation in October 2012 in Berlin-Kreuzberg, the choir has united 18 highly motivated singers from all over the capital. Choir director Caroline Krohn places particular emphasis on phrasing, timing and groove and an energetic, balanced and enjoyable choral sound.

"Singing me happy" is a good-humored a capella ensemble of 16 women and men with a passion for melodious vocal music and a love of the process of creating it. Our love belongs to jazz. For us, music has to groove, swing or go straight to the heart! Our repertoire includes many jazz standards in unusual arrangements. With rhythmically complicated Latin songs and touching jazz ballads we bring variety to our selection. 3-4 times a year we present our a capella program to the audience with great pleasure. In this year 2025, the year of the voice and singing, "Singing me happy" celebrates its 10th anniversary.
