How is water narrated and what stories shape our use of this elementary resource? How do narratives and discourses around water influence political power relations, cultural identities and ecological struggles? These questions will be explored. The focus ranges from historical narratives about rivers and oceans to contemporary debates about climate change and environmental justice.
