Die Sirenen - Drag auf der Spree

In the organizer's words:

After the huge success of last year's "Spreefahrt mit Drag Queen(s)", we're adding not one, not two, but six more in 2024: "Die Sirenen" will be cruising up and down the Spree six times, with champagne at the start and an enchanting finish. "The Sirens" - that's Audrey Naline, Alice Dee and Jade Pearl Baker, and what it means when these three drags make the Spree unsafe is actually unpredictable in the best sense of the word. But we'll give it a try anyway: 6 Spree trips with 3 drag queens for 2 and a half hours on the water = endless fun. Together they sing, dance, explain cityscapes, blow-dry and pamper the audience into happiness, old sea dogs back to their mid-20s and even end the patriarchy if necessary (decision: spontaneous).

Route: 2.5 hours through the city center
We start at Holsteiner Ufer in Berlin-Moabit and imagine directly at Bellevue Palace what it would be like to be Queen of Germany. We check whether the rainbow flag has been hoisted at the HKW and whether Olaf is there at the Chancellery. Through the government district towards Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, we shout our greetings to Nefertiti on Museum Island, make fun of the City Palace and wave to the other tourists in the Nikolai Quarter. After the Mühlendamm lock, we make our way to the Mediaspree and the Oberbaumbrücke and back again. The trip ends back in Moabit and everyone is a few hard facts from Berlin's history and a few more per mille richer.
