The reading dwarves and reading foals start in 2025

In February and March, the city library in Rheydt and the Carl Brandt Haus central library invite you to the next reading events! Together with dedicated reading mentors, young and old literature lovers from the age of 4 will embark on exciting reading adventures. Whether through magical worlds, with unusual friendships or on amazing journeys of discovery - there is something for everyone.

The reading dwarves always meet on the first Saturday of the month in the KinderWelten of the Carl Brandts Haus Central Library, the reading foals on the first Sunday of the month in the intercultural Rheydt Family Library.
Dates in February and March: Reading aloud with the Lesezwerge in the Central Library in Rheydt on February 1 and March 1 at 1 pm and with the Lesefohlen in the Rheydt Library on February 2 at 3 pm. The March reading by the Lesefohlen is canceled due to the temporary closure of the Rheydt district library.

The fun of reading aloud is guaranteed! Participation is free and possible without registration. All children aged 4 and over and their families are cordially invited.
