The indie rock supersympathizers, Die Höchste Eisenbahn, from Hamburg and Berlin, are back. And they sound in 2025 just like people in 1925 imagined the year 1999 to be. Like skyscrapers and flying steam carriages. And above all, you only have to hear half a railroad song live to immediately remember why you love this quartet so much and have missed them so much. Six years have passed since their last album "Ich glaub dir alles". That's a long time, but from the band's point of view it passed quickly when Corona and a few solo projects came in between.
Max Schröder made music with his friend Olli Schulz, Francesco Wilking with the Crucchi Gang and Moritz Krämer with the sad lobsters and the cowardly beauty. Felix Weigt played double bass with our friend Lambert, the masked pianist, is now a professional jazz podcaster and actually wanted to give up music altogether. So now, all of a sudden, a big tour in the fall. And did someone say "new music"? Even if it doesn't sound like it (yet) - for Die Höchste Eisenbahn, 2025 will be even more exciting than kissing.
