The whole story begins with frustration and injustice and ends with a stroke of liberation and true friendship. In search of freedom and self-determination, far away from cunning humans and poor living conditions, four ageing animals embark on a wild adventure and decide to go out into the world together. Together, the donkey, dog, cat and rooster survive all kinds of hardship and experience the strength that lies in their community - despite its diversity and polyphony.

In a Theatrum Mundi, the world of the Town Musicians of Bremen is created, in which flat animal figures captivate young audiences and families. An affectionate adventure in transport format with acting, puppetry, singing and a cello.
