„Die Bilder, der Boschmann und ich“ – Multimediale Lesung mit Adolf Winkelmann und Werner Boschmann

In the organizer's words:

The last reading at LITFASS before Corona was the multimedia presentation of the graphic novel "Ich sehe häufig Dinge, die es nicht gibt" by Adolf Winkelmann, which was well attended despite the unrest in everyone's hearts and minds.

We think it's all the better that we are now starting our first reading after the pandemic with Mr. Winkelmann again, and with Werner Boschmann, his long-time publisher, to boot.

The man from Dortmund and the man from Bottrop have known each other for half an eternity, and yet they never run out of things to talk about:

Filmmaker Adolf Winkelmann and publisher Werner Boschmann. They have recorded some of their conversations in the book "Die Bilder, der Boschmann und ich".

The book provides a fascinating look behind the scenes of filmmaking and an artist's life in the Ruhr region.

Of course, "the pictures" must not be missing from this conversation: They are shown on a big screen. Winkelmann and Boschmann do not always see eye to eye in their conversations.

However, when it comes to their dislike of political bureaucrats or their affection for the Ruhr region ... the audience will certainly have to put the brakes on them at some points or even strongly disagree with them.
