7000 km through South America
Lecture by Heiko Beyer
They are considered the backbone of the South American subcontinent and at the same time one of the mightiest mountain ranges on earth: the Andes. A cosmos of its own. Pristine, full of contrasts and of incomparable wildness!
Photojournalist Heiko Beyer has visited this world several times. For his new project, however, he asked himself what it would be like to travel the length of the Andes. To experience the different countries, landscapes, nature and populations on adventurous routes. He spent a total of seven years traveling in the west of South America and was able to capture a fascinating picture of this mountainous region between Pico Humboldt and Cape Horn.
Accompany Heiko Beyer on his long and exciting journeys through Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile!
