Dews Pegahorn, born in Stuttgart, is a German-African rock musician with roots in Madagascar and Angola. His musical journey began at an early age: inspired by legends such as Michael Jackson and influenced by the music of 2Pac, he discovered his passion for sound and emotion as a child. After classical vocal training at a music boarding school and initial experience as the frontman of a rock band, Dews developed his unique style, which is characterized by melancholy guitars, wild drums and atmospheric vocals. After a period as a hip-hop producer, he returned to his rock roots in November 2023, where he rediscovered his authentic artistic voice and expression, which he best describes in three words: "danceable manic depression". With his first self-produced rock single "Under the Water" and the following "Butterfly Girl", he attracted the attention of a growing fan base. His breakthrough came with "Runnin", a track that went viral within a few days and earned him international recognition on platforms such as TikTok and Spotify. Dew's Pegahorn embodies raw energy, radical authenticity and the courage to push boundaries.
