As Chairman of the Regulatory Control Council, Lutz Göbel is responsible for advising federal bodies on bureaucracy reduction and digitalization.

The aim is to make transparent the cost consequences of laws passed by federal ministries and to develop proposals on how to reduce burdensome, unnecessary bureaucracy.

Finally, the Regulatory Control Council strives to improve the legal quality of laws - legislative texts are often formulated down to the last detail in fast-track procedures before any thought has been given to how the actual objective of the law can best be achieved.

Questions of practicality and user orientation are the most important cornerstones of better legislation.

About the Aposteln-Aula:

The completely renovated Aposteln-Aula directly adjacent to the Basilica of St. Aposteln on Neumarkt is a new venue for events and encounters in Cologne's city center.

We invite all interested parties to concerts, lectures, film screenings, spiritual offerings and discussion evenings with interesting guests, which take place on Wednesday evenings.
