Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz meets Capitol Ensemble & Band

To mark the "100 Years of New Objectivity" anniversary, the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz and the Capitol Mannheim have joined forces to put on a concert that sheds light on the musical upheavals of the 1920s.

"Leben in dieser Zeit" is part of the "Modern Times" series and brings the polyphonic juxtaposition of modern orchestral works, soundtrack hits, radio music and early hot jazz numbers to the stage.

The Capitol Band ensures that the musical connection to the present day is not broken - Maram and Hagen Grohe perform the specially arranged songs with powerful voices. "Babylon Berlin" is everywhere.

Look forward to an extraordinary evening with orchestra, band and fantastic singers who will celebrate the "dance on the volcano" of the 1920s in a rousing way.
