In the Happy Land, nothing is as it used to be: people are unhappy or sad, they are in a bad mood and only care about themselves. Is it because the bird of hope that gives everyone comfort and confidence with its song has disappeared? Jabu, the prince, sets off to find the bird despite his fears and doubts. Fortunately, he gets help from Alva, the lighthouse keeper's daughter, who at least knows how to steer a ship. Together, the two set off on their adventure - accompanied by an invigorating melody.
Together with musicians Hêja Netirk and Carlos Andrés Rico, the JES has brought a light and sensual musical narrative to the stage about big questions: How do we find strength for the challenges we face? How do we remain confident? What melody gives us hope?
