Deniz & Ove

Deniz & Ove - these are the two Hamburg musicians Deniz Jaspersen and Ove Thomsen. Deniz Jaspersen played in the indie band HERRENMAGAZIN for many years and has been going solo for a few years now. Ove Thomsen was the singer and guitarist in the band OVE. The two got to know each other during the live performances of "Unter meinem Bett", and the idea for a joint children's music album was born on a train journey during the tour.

For a long time, adults always had the same songs in their ears when they heard children's music. Songs that you hoped you would never have to hear again, and if you did, then at least you wouldn't get an earworm that would eat too deeply into your hearing aids. You wish there was music that wasn't just made for children, but that their parents could also listen to and enjoy. This is where Deniz & Ove come in. They deliver what other albums promise and then fail to deliver: Music for the whole family!
