Deine Freunde - The coolest children's band in the world (self-proclaimed)

Florian Sump, Lukas Nimscheck and Markus Pauli have been delighting not only the little ones but also their parents since 2011 with their unique blend of family entertainment, hip-hop and pop music. The three Hamburg natives have shaken up the long-dead genre of children's music and fill the biggest halls in Germany.

The band's story began in 2011 with the YouTube hit "Schokolade", which now has over nine million views. Rapper Florian Sump, still a kindergarten teacher at the time, wanted to record a song for his protégés and asked DJ and music producer Markus Pauli for help.

Various albums, movie songs and an Echo nomination later, Deine Freunde are more certain than ever: children's music is the best job in the world!
