Day of the Girl

In the organizer's words:

October 11 was designated as the "Day of the Girl" by the United Nations back in 2011.

Initiated by the UN in 2011, the day is about giving girls around the world more opportunities for education and campaigning against forced marriage and violence against girls.

Reason for us to participate with empowerment campaigns by girls for girls since 2014.

On Friday, October 11, the "Day of the Girl", we will be offering a stage from 3-5 p.m. on Platz der Münchner Freiheit with dance performances, poetry slams and girls' demands and statements on this day. Afterwards, the "Night of the Girl" will continue in the youth club. Panel discussion with girls - for girls, party and food.
