Das Kinderfest in der Staatsoper

Enchanted the world today?
Haven't you? Then let's go! You have the chance to do so at the children's festival at the Hanover State Opera. Here, children take over the big stage and rehearse for a fantastic magic show with the active support of all the trades. But what is it? The magician is late, the stage seems to be bewitched and what was the magic spell for the wind machine again? Just like in a "real" dress rehearsal, everything goes completely wrong. It's up to the audience!

At many creative stations in the foyer of the opera house, young and old can lend a hand and help to put the finishing touches to the stage spectacle. And lo and behold: it works! Together they create a magical show with first-class tricks, great singing and a fantastic masquerade. Because when everyone lends a hand, magic happens that touches all the senses!
