Das Karl Valentin Haus in Planegg

The "Valentin Haus" in Planegg is the former workshop of Karl Valentin. Visitors can admire his trumpet, his bassoon and his Quetschn. Photos of the artist, his wallet and its contents and his woodturning work are on display in the showcases. Over homemade Valentin cookies, you can watch one of his best short films and his great-granddaughter will tell you a little about Karl Valentin. Karl Valentin spent his last years in the "Häusl", which was only supposed to be a weekend residence for the family.
