Das Gespenst von Canterville
In the organizer's words:
Mr. Hiram Otis, American ambassador in London, has bought the old English castle Canterville - despite many warnings that it is haunted. Now he has moved in with his wife and children Virginia, Bob and Ben. The ghost of the castle, Sir Simon de Canterville, has his hands full intimidating the new arrivals and scaring them. For the sober and practical Otis family are no strangers to tradition and reverence for ghosts. They are completely disrespectful of all this ghostly stuff! The two boys, in particular, get up to some of the biggest mischief with the old ghost. Only Virginia takes pity on Sir Simon, who has been haunted every night for 400 years, and finally releases him from his curse.
