cursed.
When Stu breaks up with his longtime boyfriend, several emotional processes are set in motion. Plagued by nightmares in which he witnesses with horror the unhappy relationship between the shy Anna and the quick-tempered Alex, the young man increasingly blurs the line between reality and imagination. A story about coming to terms with trauma and how it can sometimes lead to monstrous behavior. Unvarnished and honest, yet hopeful.
Adam Romich (he/his) is studying communication design in his final year at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences.
He has been writing and illustrating stories since childhood. cursed. is his most extensive public project to date. Always interested in visualizing what is difficult to put into words, he deals primarily with big emotions. Whether sadness, anger, despair, love, euphoria or hope - when you are at a loss for words, the illustrator begins to sketch. His works are characterized by a love of detail, organic shapes and expressive faces.
