Welcome to the colorful world of TachoTinta, where cultural misunderstandings are elevated to an art form! We create a dazzling contemporary dance performance with a drag touch - together with the audience, we create a game with positive insecurities. Here, exaggeration is not only allowed, but encouraged. Stereotyping oneself becomes the motto when we turn life into a show. Please leave your prejudices at the checkroom!

Experience a captivating contemporary dance performance by TachoTinta that transcends boundaries and challenges stereotypes. In this unique drag show of cultural identities, international artists unite with the audience to celebrate the art of glamorous exaggeration - a strategy that inspires laughter and reflection in equal measure.

We invite you into a fog of cultural uncertainties as we playfully challenge our own preconceptions. With a mixture of humor, provocation and profundity, we penetrate deep into the core of the complexity of identities and prejudices. Let yourself be enchanted by the visual splendor, the captivating choreographies and the powerful atmosphere at the bar of "Auf der Heide - Kneipe & Kultur", transformed by Bianca Lux, Döner-Teller Versache, Lola Predator and a surprise guest. "Cultural Drag" promises an evening full of surprises, reflections and positive uncertainties - a must for anyone who wants to broaden their perspective on life in a transcultural world and see life as a show!

Cultural Drag was TachoTinta's first full-length stage play. Three more major productions have followed so far, but the beginning is still deep in the hearts of everyone involved. The piece premiered in 2021 and was invited to the renowned festival tanz.nrw aktuell 21, among others. From 2021 to 2023, we toured Germany with the piece and performed in Freiburg, Cologne, Chemnitz and Flensburg, among others. Now we at TachoTinta want to get even closer to the audience and are transforming the Kulturkneipe into a stage. The play can be seen on December 13 & 14 at 7 pm in the "Auf der Heide - Kultur & Kneipe" in Schwerte.

About TachoTinta
With a pinch of self-irony and curiosity for the raw, TachoTinta creates temporary choreographic universes to become experts in cultural misunderstandings. Together, they approach questions of physicality and storytelling from a transcultural perspective and are inspired by the hurdles along the way. The NRW-based group, led by Silvia Ehnis Perez Duarte and Mijin Kim, has performed on various stages throughout Germany, including at Ringlokschuppen Ruhr, tanzhaus nrw, E-Werk Freiburg, Schwere Reiter and PATHOS Munich, TanzFaktur and Theaterwerkstatt Pilkentafel, where they are an associated group. This year they performed in the city project SCHWIMM CITY as part of the Impulse Theater Festival in Mülheim an der Ruhr.TachoTinta is currently supported by the RheinEnergie Stiftung Kultur and KunstSalon Stiftung.
