On April 15, 2025, the legendary occult rock band Coven will transform the Trompete stage in Bochum into a dark ceremony of rock, mysticism and magic. Since the late 1960s, Coven have been regarded as pioneers of dark hard rock and as one of the first bands to incorporate occult symbolism and themes into their music. With their charismatic frontwoman Jinx Dawson, whose unmistakable voice and stage presence have captivated audiences for decades, this concert promises to be a unique experience.

Formed in Chicago in 1967, Coven quickly gained attention with their debut album Witchcraft Destroys Minds & Reaps Souls (1969), which is considered to be one of the first works to deal offensively with satanic and occult themes - even before bands such as Black Sabbath or Pentagram adopted similar aesthetics. The album already contained a song called "Black Sabbath", and the liner notes showed the first documented use of the "mano cornuta" (devil horns) gesture - long before this gesture became popular in metal.

The Trompete in Bochum has established itself as an insider tip for first-class live music.
