Burt Meyer is an aging singer-songwriter. He is the prototype of a provincial rocker. He is the highlight of any open-mic session, somewhere between being really cool and infinitely embarrassing. He knows how to place his poetic songs between convincing punchlines and devastating anecdotes like no other. In touch with nature, the whole world and his artistic soul, he stands on stage with his song in Cis-Major. Meant seriously or with a wink? At least the stadium is not the stage, as one might think from his gestures, but the small niche in the not-so-smoky bar. What luck!
Burt Meyer is the new character of the theater collective commandoTaube! After the play 'Das Taubenlied', which was knitted around the notoriously foolish stage character 'Flemming Paul' and played on independent theater stages across Germany between 2021 and 2024, the next clownish prank is now coming from the pigeon-toothed theater collective from Cologne.
